About the Role
Carolina Conduit Systems is seeking a detail-oriented Construction Billing Administrator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong billing and invoicing experience within the construction industry and a proven ability to communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and vendors.
This position plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all project billings while maintaining excellent customer relationships and supporting daily office operations.
Responsibilities
- Create invoices and billings using standard company processes.
- Contact customers regarding late invoices, research payment issues, and coordinate with internal teams to resolve outstanding items.
- Support the office with day-to-day business needs and general administrative duties.
- Accurately bill through builder web portals such as Textura and Maximo.
- Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
- Maintain construction job files and client documentation for reporting and audit purposes.
- Perform daily data entry and maintain billing logs.
- Assist with other duties and projects assigned.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in billing, invoicing, or accounting (construction industry preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, or similar.
- Working knowledge of construction billing portals (Textura, Maximo, or equivalent).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
